Prepared from freshly collected bovine plasma. Protein puriry is determined by SDS-PAGE and shows no reduction upon incubation with 2-mercaptoethanol. Activated Factor IX (activated via Factor XIa or the Factor VIIa/tissue factor/phospholipid complex is responsible for the activation of Factor X to Xa.
